Why do kids-- and cats-- think that if they can't see you, you can't hear them? You'd think they'd have figured this all out by now-- at least the kids-- since I have been known to yell across the house "I'm not deaf, you know!"
Perfume? Doesn't taste as good as it smells.
I really don't like getting hot flashes. I really, really don't like waking up with them.

Another thing I don't like? Working until 11-11:30PM. Several times a week.
Or going to work at 8AM.
Or work in general, if I'm being perfectly honest. I am a lazy arse.
But I do adore my MAC eyeshadow. I got Beauty Marked. It's this marvelous blue-black with red glitter. (I'm a sucker for black eyeshadow. I have several.)
I'm a total space case lately. Can't remember anything. I don't know if that's from lack of sleep or hormones or both.
I'm hating the crazy holiday drivers. A lot. If I had a penny for every near-accident I've been in lately, I'd have quite a lot of money right now.
But, luckily, I haven't had to deal with many rude shoppers at work. This is a pleasant surprise.
Winter shouldn't be cold. It should never be cold. Cold is bad. Anyone who thinks cold is good is a heretic and should be burned at the stake.
Snow is only pretty until you have to shovel it. Then it's almost worst than mucking out a stall. Almost.
Does anyone else's cat gallop about in righteous anger or is it just mine? You can hear him coming from across the house. It's like a stampede, but with only one pudgy, pissed off cat.
The bangs? Growing out and making me insane. I should buy hair clips and bands.
Why do kids wait until you threaten them with an eternity in hell before doing the simplest of chores? Do they like punishment? Or just giving me a headache?
The Boy has learned to try to bribe me with gifts when he's in trouble. It doesn't work. I thank him graciously for the gift and then ground him.
The Girl is learning that boys don't always know what the hell a girl wants. She also doesn't know how to cut the poor boy some slack. At least he tried, right?
